Accused of viewing child porn (£100 fine)

I won't deny watching porn but it was perfectly legal stuff and suddenly I get a pop up literally accusing me of watching illegal porn (zoophilia/child porn), which I absolutely never did, and they then proceeded to ask me for £100 within the next two working days or else not only will my phone be locked but I'll wind up on the sex offenders' list?

What the actual hell? How can I pay a fine for something I wouldn't dream of doing in a million years?

I had something similar watching big bang theory on my laptop. just report it to cyber crime teams. this incident has made me more vigilant when streaming tv programmes however.

How old are you like 50? Stick to the main porn sites and get adblocker for god's sake lol

It's a scam! It happened to me before and I just shrugged it off and carried on

adblock doesnt work in incognito you cnt
many people have been caught out by filelocking malware. if you download Cryptoprevent that will protect you against future attacks.

if yu like me and are logged into google account, its bad for privacy

Plus you search something on google and porn is gonna pop up as suggestions or fill up yur recent tab

Fairy snuffs on the first point. But, Google filters / censors the suggestions, they never show for me, plus I only search from google itself not the web bar. Pretty sure that you can alter the setting though to suit your own needs.

yh that's why i did jus in case i forget. It's so complicated, you have to turn of search history and suggestions which is in two separate places and even then i cant be sure ive turned of all the options like wtf lol
