Challenging GCSE Maths questions?

Does anyone have any challenging maths questions for GCSE? I thought that everybody could post some in preparation for our upcoming exams :smile:

they're not from past papers, they are just designed to push you by applying gcse maths knowledge in slightly complex situations. Don't worry, this won't appear in the summer exam :biggrin:

This is not a "Challenging" question.
It is long one.

Try questions that are put into real-life scenarios because they catch people out more but still have a go with that.

If last years paper is out, do it; I thought it was harder than most papers I have done for maths Edexcel GCSE.
