Hairy Chest

Right this is embarrassing, hence the anon, but my chest is really rather hairy tbh. It is worse near my stomach and i actually have a line of hair running up from my belly button. I was wondering why i am so hairy (yes i am female and no i'm not asian, no offence intended there, i have just seen threads on that topic before) and what i can actually do about it because i hate it and makes my body look even worse that it already is. I've tried shaving but effectively shaving that whole area is hard and im worried about making the hairs thicker and more noticeable

Please wax....
Hair removal cream or laser treatment as an expensive last resort? Also, have you spoken to your GP about it as it maybe a hormonal imbalance causing you to grow more hair maybe?

Never waxed before  shaving is all i've ever done, is waxing effective?

Wasn't aware of hair removal cream  thank you for that, and no because it is too embarrassing but you could be right there because i have very bad back acne (hence why i hate this to because it makes me feel even uglier) and that is due to hormones apparently.
Wax.
Nothing worse than a treasure trail on a woman.
Get rid.

this is a myth they don't actually grow thicker, it's just since you cut the tip of the hair off the rest which continues to grow is the meaty bit of the hair making it seem like it's thicker.

i have the same problem btw o.o i'm 17 now but i just use shave it every so often and keep that thing down

Waxing hurts and can also lead to ingrown hairs, where as I feel hair removal cream I feel works better as it dissolves the hair so there is no abrasion or irritation like when you shave. I would hazard a guess that waxing takes a longer time to grow back the hair followed by hair removal cream and then shaving.

I would warn you though to test the product on a small area first to make sure you aren't allergic. Also, please keep it off the genitals; common sense but you'd be surprised how many people use it for that when there are specialist creams designed for the genitals while others are more for arms, armpits, legs, chest and arse where the skin isn't necessarily so sensitive.

From shaving other regions on my body, I can say from experience that this is not a myth.
There are some conditions that cause girls even boys to be more hairy, search it online or consult your GP. Good luck
get it sorted ....otherwise it will spread

Lol come off anon :h: and at least i would get more girls that way
I don't think there is any permanent way to stop hair growing, apart from pulling out the roots which just sounds painful.. If it's an insecurity at least you can keep shaving so it's not so noticeable, and you're bound to find someone that will accept you for who you are!
treasure trail??
You can do waxing.. To remove that unnecessary hairs.
I have the same problem but just on my belly. It's so annoying. I think bleach is the way to go.
You could try ipl. I had it done in certain areas so I don't have to bother shaving or waxing.
I'd advise you to get a blood test done to check for a hormonal imbalance. My friend, who had excessive hair growth, found out she had pcos. Since being on the pill her hair has decreased.
