Hi I'm really struggling with finding material to revise for MEI because its clearly not a popular choice for AS maths but I was wondering if you had any ideas...?

The Solomon press papers are great, http://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/maths-revision/ , also the CGP/hodder revision guides are great, Solomon press has more papers that are topic based so go for them. Our maths teacher hasn't touched the textbook in class, she gives us MEI and Solomon worksheets and says the book is a resource for our practice because she thinks there also isn't much for MEI. Also do the past papers (obviously) and practice papers which tend to be MUCH harder than actual papers but they'll make you confident

2x^2 + 4x = 16
2x^2 + 4x - 16 = 0
(2x+8)(x - 2) = 0
x = -4 and 2

how many sig figs are you supposed to round to in S1? Mark scheme uses from 2 to 5 it seems random...
also would you get marked down for using too many?
