How to express t in terms of N? Need helpppp please

Equation: N=1000(1.0423)*t
How to express t in terms of N?
I've tried : (1.0423)*t=N/1000
t ln(1.0423)= ln (N/1000)
t= ln(N/1000) / ln(1.0423)
But the answer is : t= ln(N/1000) / 1.0423
Where did I go wrong? And where is the LN which is with the 1.0423 before?

Help me pleaseeee... Thank you!

We usually use " ^ " for exponentiation. Assuming that's what you meant, book's wrong, and you are correct.
