Am I asexual or gay?

Ok well I thought I was asexual for a while. I never really wanted to have sex before I was 19 with anyone personally. But then like when I was 19 I got a really bad crush on a guy. And things turned into more than that. And I liked him and that encounter. Now after that I have like seen guys I am attracted to but it's far and few inbetween like there can be 40 guys and none I'll be interested in. It's rare that I do find guys attractive I have a type but the type is just rare around here. I normally find no one sexually attractive and I've never been romantically attracted to anyone male or female. I like do see men as more viably attractive. I don't see that with women I only think they are pretty but nothing that attracts me. Also since I was 11 I always had fantasies and material I either create or sought out throught telephone tv or computer or books etc. Like porn. And it's always been gay porn. I masturbate usually to that. But I personally don't want to have sex with a guy normally it seems. I've also never had a boyfriend. Does this make me asexual?

I am no expert but I would describe you as mostly asexual with homosexual tendencies.

Also on top of all that I don't get turned on by my crushes I have now when I'm on drugs I'm totally asexual. Like there's this guy I'm very attracted to draws my blood frequently in a study I'm in and I usually find it unconfortable him doing it because I don't like being close in proximity to people I feel that way about. But when I'm on the drug I feel absolutely nothing. No attraction whatsoever.


I'm also 22 now. And I'm kind of a virgin I haven't been sexually active since that encounter I talked about in my op.

It is possible you could be aromantic demisexual or asexual/grey-asexual.

Have you had a look around AVEN? I believe the members there would be able to advise you somewhat better. Personally as someone who once identified as an asexual myself (I don't use labels anymore; too restricting) it sounds like you could be one of the things I mentioned above.

Don't worry about labelling yourself, just keep having fun and experimenting.

I want to google some of these terms.

I don't really experiment. I don't really need sex in my life. I just don't look for it much generally.
