What does the AS Level in Edexcel History count towards?
Im doing history and the new system is confusing as ****. I have no idea what i am actually studying towards. Does it count towards a final percentage of the A Level, or is it a stand alone qualification (and does that qualification actually mean anything).

The AS is a stand alone qualification i believe.

It's a stand alone qualification. If you don't go on to take the A level then it is worth 40% of the UCAS points that the same grade at A level attracts.
