A shot is roughly one unit, if its in a 70cl bottle there'll be 28 shots in it if that helps.
Unlikely to be exactly 1 shot, but it'd be a reasonable enough estimation. Or just stick a glug of it in.

No. 1 shot = 1 unit for 40% spirits. Unless you're taking shots of 4% beer/cider that won't be true, and if you are you're drinking beer wrong.

That's not how it works in the slightest. Shots is a measurement of volume, ABV of concentration - the two are independent of each other at this end.
