Deciding between UCL and Edinburgh (for Physics)

I can't decide between UCL and Edinburgh. It seems clear that Edinburgh has more extra-curricular and sporting facilities, and the course flexibility is very attractive. However, given that UCL is highly regarded and has a good reputation with regard to the sciences, it makes the decision much harder.

Opinions?
Which location would you prefer, if any?

Partially. However, I'm more concerned about weighing the benefit of the better course structure at Edinburgh against the overall benefit of going to UCL. To put it more bluntly, the brand value of UCL.
