Assessment of Financial Circumstances form

I'm trying to apply for student finance and it is telling me that, unless my mum confirms her income via email, I have to download and fill out an "Assessment of Financial Circumstances form". Where do I find this form? Also, is it possible to fill it out and send it without her permission?

I believe it is this form they are referring to http://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/1617/ft/sfe_pff2_form_1617_d.pdf, well it needs to be signed by her so you can't really do it without her permission.

Ah... Do you know if I could create a fake email account and fill out the online version for her? Is there ANY way of confirming her income without her knowledge? Would I have to provide evidence such as tax forms or something?

That would be fradulent and yes you have to have her P60 which you'll only get if she gives it to you. You can apply for the minimum loan which isnt based on household income without your mums details I believe.

It's a document from hmrc detailing her earning from last year, is it that you want to apply for a full loan without her knowing?

She doesn't want me to go to uni so I can't have her knowing that I am applying for a loan at all.

What does this document look like? Would I have to send a photocopy of it to them or do I just need details from it? Im sure it will be in the house somewhere.

You'd need to send the original one. You can apply for the minimum maintainace loan without needing to declare your household income.

Ok. Do you know where I might be able to find it? I.e. Will there be a hard copy of it or will it have been sent to her in an email? Will it be clearly marked/titled?

A P60 is issued to an employee by the employer (i.e. the company she works for). Most companies send out P60s in April and include it with their end of April payslip. However not all do this and some send it separately. It must be sent by the end of May at the latest.

There are various formats for a P60 - but it might look like this:

Oh, and most companies print out the P60, but technically it can now be sent electronically.

I have submitted my application and filled in the household income assessment form but they didn't ask me to send in any proof of income, just a copy of my mum's decree nisi. Will they ask for proof of income later?
