I'm 16 and I have really bad cellulite on my thighs and bum. I've had it for quite a long time, since I was about 13/14. The first time I really noticed it was when I was with my friends and I was sitting down on a chair in shorts and friend pointed at my thigh and asked me why my leg was all bumpy. Since then I've been quite self conscious about it but it's definitely become worse in the last year.
I'm 5'5 and relitively fit, I go to the gym about twice a week and dance two nights a week, and I walk home from school(about an hours walk) a few days a week. I'm certainly no overweight, I am a bit fatter than my friends but I think it's just genetic because I'm built differently to them, they're all very skinny with no boobs or a figure and I have a rather full hourglass figure with quite large boobs and bum.
I ordered some cream off the Internet to help get rid of it and it arrived today. I opened the parcel in my room but my dad came in to see what was in it. I tried to hide it from him and told him it was just moisturiser but he took it from me anyway and when he saw what it was he looked at me and said I was only sixteen.
That's made me really paranoid about it, so I was wondering if it was normal for a 16 year old to have cellulite? And how I could get rid of it? I've been trying to lose weight but I've not lost any yet, I've been eating healthier and have recently gone vegetarian.
