Plymouth uni or uwe for fine art?!

PLEASE HELP. I'm stuck between UWE or plymouth for fine art. I have a offer for both of them but I just don't know who to accept. There's pros and cons for both of them.
Bristol is an awesome city, but very expensive and the campuses are far apart from each other so a lot of walking and getting buses. If I were to go to Bristol then Marketgate would be my choice of accommodation but it is so expensive and I don't think I will enjoy it there as I do want to socialise more when I'm in university but not all the time... and marketgate has a reputation for partying apparently. The course seems really great though and all I really care about is which one I am going to study better in.
Plymouth is cheaper to live in, I've found accommodation for about 100 a week which is pretty decent compared to Bristol (138pounds a week, ouch!) Plymouth is all central as well so travelling wouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure about the night life but its a city so I doubt its that bad? In the course, the classes are smaller also.

WHICH SHOULD I ACCEPT? If you go to either of these unis that would be super helpful. I'm just not sure x.x

Hey! I'm possibly going to UWE as well! I know it's so hard to decide... but tbh I feel like Bristol is the better choice; it's a beautiful city, you'd probably have a great uni experience, the reputation of the UWE Fine Art course is quite a lot better than Plymouths reputation and the tutors at Bristol are meant to be better. I don't think money should be a factor here, this is the next 3 years of your life! Enjoy it

Sorry for being so one-sided! Good luck choosing!! x

Thanks for the reply! I just went to the Plymouth University open day today and now I've decided that I definitely want to go there. Its amazing x_x If you havent been, you should really go have a look. Their stats may not be as high as uwe for fine art but tbh, on 'unistats' it isnt even accurate.
Between plymouth and uwe, uwe is summed up by 45 students and plymouth is summed up by 30 students XD.
For me, plymouth seems to be much better as everything is so close to each other and the campus is soooo nice and the shopping centre is right next door. As well as the studio spaces are so much more spacey in Plymouth. Ugh, I'm so excited to start university now after seeing how good Plymouth is ^_^.
Hi Heather,

Have you applied to do BA Fine Art at Plymouth College of Art or at Plymouth University?
I work at Plymouth College of Art, we're across the road from Plymouth Uni but are an independent art school, offering BA degrees and Masters in a range of creative subjects (including Fine Art). You can find out more info about us here: http://www.plymouthart.ac.uk/

Whichever uni you're attending, good luck with starting your course in September I studied Illustration here at Plymouth College of Art and it's a great city to study in :-)

Hey! I know Bristol is a great city, with a great music scene!
Plymouth on the other hand, there's 2 places you can study art. I wouldn't recommend Plymouth Uni, however, Plymouth College of Art is a lovely place to study. There's a lot of art students in Plymouth Uni who wish they chose the Art College.

If you're not sure which one to choose why not make the decision by KIS data?

This lets you see what students on the course really think.

On the webpage for the Bristol Course and the Plymouth Course are the results from The National Student Survey, an independent survey run by HEFCE, where students are approached directly to say what they think. it normally looks like a red box. Why not compare what the students think? Last year, Fine Arts UWE Bristol students gave their course an unsurpassable 100% satisfaction rating.

hope this helps
