David Cameron called 'racist' after accusing Sadiq Khan over links to IS supporter

A bit hypocritical of Cameron considering that we remain such strong allies with the KSA, but racist? It's racist to criticise someone for shmoozing with fascists?

It's unbecoming for the PM to use his parliamentary privilege to make unsubstantiated accusations and allegations about citizens of the UK, safe in the knowledge that he will not be hauled up before judges for defamation.

It is also unbecoming for the PM to use his office to deliver verbal personal attacks against the future Mayor of London, in an effort to help his own candidate secure the coveted position.

Is it fair to call him racist, though?
Every man and his dog knows the Saudis did 9/11. Saudi Arabia and Iran are taking a massive **** on the whole of the middle east.
That man isn't an IS supporter

This swiftly followed prime minister David Cameron’s intervention in the mayoral contest yesterday, when in an attack upon Khan he alleged that Gani “supports IS” (Islamic State). Gani has denied this and challenged Cameron to repeat the allegation outside the House Commons, threatening to sue him if he does. Parliamentary correspondents have reported being unable to extract from Cameron’s office any evidence that Gani “supports IS.” Meanwhile, a picture of a poster advertising an event organised in Mitcham in January has been circulated on social media. The event was headlined The Evils of Isis and Gani was billed as one of the speakers. This hardly suggests that Gani is an Islamic State fan.

I honestly love Sadiq Khan but at this moment I'm not sure whether or not he is actually really a IS supporter. I can't really tell if David Cameron said that to make sure Zac Goldsmith or someone else from the Conservative party to win the mayoral election- I'm honestly confused.
Not sure what's worse...IS or Socialism...

Nope, I'm not laughing. But in my opinion if he truly is an IS supporter, he should say it to the public not from Dave who likes to have fun with pigs.
Typical Labour Party style response. Not surprised.

Are people still banging on about the pig thing :s-smilie: ? It wasn't even funny at the time, he did something stupid at university, who cares?

It's not that, it's the fact that 'intimate' moment Dave had went out in public. The fact he's Prime Minister makes it quite awkward. It wasn't really funny but really, really disturbing.

Shoving your dick in to a pig isn't a standard university thing though, or a normal thing by any standards.

It'd be different if he went on like a Lad's night out and did some stuff but dicking a pig is a whole other ball game.
I am conservative to the bone, but this guy- DC- just makes my blood boil. the BS he talks, together with his stupid face (pigly eyes and snort) just makes me wish to punch the TV.

It was part of an initiation thing for a club. He put his bits in a dead pig's mouth, not its ass.

I never specified which orifice of the pig he shoved his penis in to.

And that still doesn't make it any better that it was for a club. Yeah we all do wild things, but surely he'd use what he has for a brain and kniw that it's stupid. Especially if he knew he wanted to be a politician where everything about you is picked apart.

Can't tell whether it was just a mistake or he's just an idiot.

Actually scratch that, you don't just accidently shove your dick in to a pig.
Sadiq Khan has always maintained that ,and as said in the article, that he only made contact with extremists because of his previous work. He has maintained that he is against such views and isn't an extremist.

Cameron knew that very well and still made these comments. If Sadiq Khan wasn't a non white, this wouldnt have happened but Cameron used the fact that he is brown to his own advantage.

There is certainly substance in Labours calls of racism. But like all partys, they have used this as a bit of leverage to attack Cameron too.

Conservatives are a massive compromise to democracy, false agendas on their election campaigns arent the least of it. Zac Goldsmith has been using this incident as a way of gaining votes instead of campaigning which in my view is absolutely disgusting and undermines democratic values.
