What are the gyms at unis generally like? do ppl use them or go to say fitness first

title says it all
I hardly ever use my gym, mainly because it's so small and cramped. A power rack and barbell is enough for me but it's pretty much ALWAYS taken. And the times are pretty poor, I prefer my 24 hour gym.
Depends on the uni. I go to Nottingham and all 3 gyms on the campuses are fine for the most part

Yeah, it can be but its better than not having any society/club similar to it
in terms of meeting people with similar interests etc.

Is the white guy in the red stringer 'Conor Murphy' or something?

hello, i am currently in my third year at Newman University and i have been a member at there gym for the whole 3 years. i really enjoy it because it is so practical to get to and use. It can get busy though sometimes but before 3pm there is only students allowed and not the general public so i normally go in the morning because then its not busy. its quite cheep for students to like £20 a month. hope you find the gym for you
