Part of the Tory war against the poor. People end up homeless because of benefit sanctions, but it's not enough to stop somebody's financial lifeline for 3 months because they were a minute late at the job centre they also want to make them pay for being homeless? Just what are they supposed to do? Might as well replace benefit sanctions with the death penalty or prison either way sanction victims are stuffed.

Just don't make the houses mansions, modest holdings, get them into work quickly and then start taxing and move them on.

People will still bitch. It's funny criminals get free housing and meals but not the homeless. They should open prisons to the homeless, you follow the same routine so it's not fun to prevent the public complaining and people taking advantage but you can leave whenever you want. 2 weeks in "prison" getting a shower, some meals and a CV done would help a lot of the homeless. Beats putting a guy in for 2 weeks for graffiti or some rubbish.
