That's even more weird since in the muslim world, as someone mentioned, the extremists took over after removing western influences. But why would it happen in the UK?

Wahabbism
Lol why is showing leg and cleavage considered "civilised"? What is uncivilised about covering yourself?

The Imperial European Governments moved out (I think)

Haha, no they had moved out before colour photography had been invented. There used to be a period of peace and prosperity in the middle east, not sure about the rest of the Muslim countries. Those clothes were what these Iranians and so on normally wore. You'd have seen the same thing in Saddam's era in Iraq before the war.

1. Their testimony is worth half a male
2. The right not to drive is rejected by all scholars except the two/three guys that drew that clever idea up (these guys make the muslims look extreme)
3. What do you mean "entering society"?
4. Women can refuse sex, no husband can force it without it being a sin (although Allah will judge a women for it IN THE AFTERLIFE if she refuses without a valid excuse eg menstruation/headache/illness)

Thanks for helping me. Ultimately women have loads of rights. Just islamophobes wanting to have a pop all the time

1. Why?

3. Working, general socialising, shopping etc. Going outside the home basically?

4. But why should she still be judged? If a woman is simply in a low mood or not feeling up to it, why is she obliged to still put out? Why won't men be judged if they don't give their wives sex?

You could ask the same thing for Muslims in the UK tbh

When my grandfather immigrated here, immigrant Muslim women wouldn't wear niqabs or abayas or anything. Many didn't even feel the need to wear a headscarf (my mum didn't in my childhood, now she does )

Lol, same story with my mum .

There can never be a intellectual discussion with people like you calling any other opinion islamophobic, racist, sexist, homophobic etc.

That's not my point. if they were genuine questions about Islam, they would be welcomed. But if this was in a fairytale book, I would be willing to bet my first-born daughter that OP wasn't looking for a peaceful intellectual discussion.

Yet you were the first poster to post anything that went against a peaceful intellectual discussion

1. Why do muslims pray? Why do we go Pilgrimage to Makkah? Why do we fast? Why do we do x and y? Some religious rituals have been directly explained by God and some haven't. This is one of those that have not been explained fully by God. All questions about Islam that us muslims have to ask God, we will get the chance to ask him on Day of Judgement. One of the things to look forward to!

3. Women are free to socialise/shop in non-mixed environments by themselves. Same rule for men. But to travel to and from places, men are obligated to drop them off and pick them up wherever they go.

4. She has to. Same for the dude but the punishment was described for a women. Both rewarded for "putting out", lol.
Well then....i am allowed to learn how to drive, to go further into university and to do whatever i want. I am muslim, not forced to wear the hijab and i am treated equally.

Read 1st and 2nd post. You would have to have literally zero UCAS points to not realise that OP had islamophobic intentions.

The European governments moved out so they reverted back to their barbaric and primitive ways

Why is going out in ninja/dementor costumes on a day to day basis civilised then?

What's wrong with a woman uncovering her legs? They're not even that sexual

Well, according to Google, to civilise means to "bring (a place or people) to a stage of social development considered to be more advanced."
So I'm going to ask again, what is uncivilised about covering yourself, rather than showing your legs and cleavage?

Gone backwards instead of forwards tbh

No wonder they're all so deprived

Your mum as well (I'm assuming she's a muslim)...?
I don't direct my resentment at the entire muslim populace, just the sheikhs and the clerics. And the wars and invasions.

2 comments one asking what has changed in 50 years and another saying what they thought had happened.

Not everything is islamophobia or does islamophobia include all criticism?

I am an Afghan and you must be joking thinking we are oppressed...my whole family is back there and are soooo happy. In the 60s and 70s my family chose to wear hijab and are today as well. Some were a bit more revealing in terms of clothing than others in my far family also. Now even they regret it and say we were getting too influenced by the communism. Just by a few photos you think all were like that please. Even at time hijab existed in Afghanistan ok and were worn by majority.

It is the foreign interventions in our country that destroyed everything. We will never forget that. My family always says it was nightmare looking at the soviets destroying homes by PURPOSE when they came with their soldiers and killing a lot of innocent people to gain power there.

Also do not think that the country is ISLAMIC even now coz it just is not.
