How do YOU memorize information for exams?

Hi, I'm currently revising for my university exams next week and the week after.

The problem is, i'm having a lot of trouble retaining and recalling information.

How do I avoid blanking out in exams?

Please let me know about the techniques you guys use to revise effectively.

Thanks in advance <3

Keep writing things down, practically doing "lines"

you dont memorize
Use a small white board and dry erase marker. I write things down on paper and try to memories then I keep trying to write it exactly the same on the whiteboard.
I am a visual learner, so seeing things and associating them with words helps me.

That's interesting. How does this go with essays? How do you 'visualise' things in that sense?

you visualise essays and create memorable images that link with your essay.

Visualising is hard for essays but it cane be done in the way above.
I don't study at university level but I usually end up remembering something forever after it randomly hits me and makes sense at 2am when I'm trying to go to sleep.
People say that your sense of smell is most reliant on memory so assigning scents to your work might help. Try chewing gum when you revise and chewing gum at the test. Make it subconscious cause we know our conscious minds are ****ed up. Let the subconscious do the work. If you can't your gonna have to do classic all nighters and cram studying. Good luck , we all need it.
Personally I scare my self into memorising stuff

But sometimes, if I say "oh I don't need that..." I end up remember what I don't need to remember...

I have a silly brain
