Cheated on.

Um hey. So first things first. I caught my husband in bed having sex with a "friend" of mine this morning after I came from a trip of (I arrived much earlier than expected) . And clearly they didn't hear me arrive cause my coach dropped me off at the main road, hence no car noises.. Um i didn't have the guts to go and confront them then..so I just walked out with my stuff again to my cousins house...

Later I came back and she was there too. And I acted like I didn't know anything to see if they'll spill the beans but no apparently he invited her there to "welcome" me and he "just was in a meeting" till then.

I've been pretty messed up today..I don't know what to do. Or what to say.
Getting a divorce is a gonna be hard due to south asain families having this taboo of divorce. I just don't know. Any advice would be welcome.
(I'm 24 btw)

OMG! So sorry to hear that. Don't mind the taboo. You should leave your husband and get a divorce. He cheated on you and the worst part was, you saw them doing that on actual. The nerve! If I were you, I'll confront them.

Thank you. Yeahh I really need to. But he did this once where we were out and I saw him cosying up to this other girl and when I tried to talk to him about it he started having a go and me and how I probably would go with other guys (when i clearly dont) and he was so angry saying how I had the nerve to be suspicious about him yeah. He's just gonna accuse me of things if I try.Gosh I should have walked in then and there :frown:

If you talk to him about how his day was, and he completely skirts over anything happening. Just simply be like "Do you want to try that again?"

Calmly address the elephant in the room.

Don't let this ho stomp all over you.

If I were you, I would get a divorce. It will just get worse over time. Don't invest your time and energy with someone who isn't of your worth and someone you can't trust if they don't repay the same back. Besides, it is your life so your family will just have to understand and deal with it, so you shouldn't feel guilty about getting a divorce just because of your family. You are still young, so I'm more than certain you will find someone much better for you. :smile:

confront him because he'll just think he hasn't been found out, address the situation and get out of this stupid relationship. what gets me livid is the fact that he lied to your face, what a useless dickhead. If you do confront him be confident and assertive and don't let him talk over you and tell your "friend" she's a home wrecker.

How long have you been married?
Talk to him but dont be surprised if he denies it, ge doesnt know what you did or didnt see. he may even blame it on you.
Figure out if you want to stay somewhere else or cna bear to sat where you are.
Decide if you really want a divorce or will go to counseling? If you discuss with him decide on the changes you want.
You can also try mediation.

If you want a divorce figure out if you will need a solicitor or you cna do it yourself. Its pretty straightforward as long as there are no kids involved.
Get financial documents and make sure you shut down bank accounts so he cnat empty them. You alos want to make sure he cnat take out loans that make you liable as well. Im assuming at 24 you dont have a house yet or kids.

Just put everything on a checklist an work through them, sorry its happened, but its better imo to talk it though , make a decision and then stick to it.

Yeah. I'm just gonna have to talk to them straight out I guess. Hopefully they'll understand. Idk if I should ask him or tell my family first :/
