Where can I do Beng Automotive Engineering?

I have been looking everywhere for courses that are accredited by IMechE in automotive engineering but I cant find that many, am I missing them or is it just a relatively new course and other Unis dont offer them yet? So far found; Sheffield Hallam, Oxford Brookes, Surrey, Sussex, Manchester Met, Northumbria and Birmingham City.
Does anyone know of any other places?

It's more that it's quite a niche course and it shares a lot of components with another speciality course, aerospace. If you search on unistats you'll find there's quite a few unis that offer automotive engineering or mechanical with a specialism in automotive.

Have you taken a look at automotive materials at Loughborough? I initially applied for automotive engineering but got offered automotive materials instead and I actually found that the course appealed to me a lot more than automotive eng. Its accredited too

Automotive Materials is indeed a great course! I am doing materials engineering, and we share pretty much every first year module. If you are interested in motorsport, the degree will equip you with a great deal of knowledge that can be applied in designing vehicles, since a lot of the current research focuses on improvement of current materials.

Ooo thats cool, what year of study are you in for materials engineering? Also whats the first year of the course like? From going to the applicant day, I really really like Loughborough as a whole and the materials department seems very good. I'm hoping to transfer to there from Bradford Uni after I've finished this foundation year in engineering

I am still a first year, the course is great! Most lecturer are awesome and if you have any question you can simply drop by their office.

The department is good. Most lectures will not be housed in the department's S Building, but elsewhere, mostly around West Park. The course is pretty time consuming and some modules will be pretty hard (Thermodynamics and Mechanics come to mind) but once you get the hang of it they are fine!
