Haha so true and the emoticons were so funny, I just used to spam people with those.
I remember that in msn, you used to be able to have any animated gif you want installed as an emoji.

Ooh that a built-in emoji? I hardly used those as, don't know if you're aware, but you could also use any gif you wanted that you could find on the internet in text. I forgot what they were called! But you'd basically use them like emojis in text. Example
