Mechanics Or Statistics? (Choose)

Hi,

I wanted to know if i should take Statistics or Mechanics for my AS-Levels.
Which one is more better / a bit easier / Interesting?
I haven't done either before :frown:
P.S : I'm not really that good in maths ! ><
I'd say stats is easier because it's so heavily process based, but mechanics is easier because it's not completely soul destroying.

If you want a nice easy run, I'd say go for stats, if you want something with a bit of substance the mechanics. S1, S2, M1, M2 are all nice simple modules.

depends what you wanna do for a job, as a general rule of thumb, statistics is more useful in the real world compared to mechanics.

probably statistics

maybe mechanics?

@Zacken does both stats and mechanics so maybe he could give you a better comparison than i

Take a bit of both. It doesn't really matter at A-Level.

I hate mechanics.
Stats is bae.
Decision is meh.

I've only done mech and decision so I gotta ask, why do people hate stats so much?

It's number crunching, you drop the numbers into a machine, turn the handle and the number comes out. You just decide what that number means.
