Thanks for making this thread OP! I've added it to the Exam Directory Thread which you can find here. Use that thread to find discussions on your other exam papers, and do let me know if you spot any that aren't on the list. Good luck with this exam! :king1:
guys please help me with this question :frown:

Coil X has a field which is also acting on Coil Y with the same magnirude. So it would be 0.002x50x4.

Perhaps use the exponential definitions?

So V = V_0 e^(-t/RC)

Then ...?
I can't show a clear method. Would I say the time is less to charge from 6V to 12V hence larger then the bottom?

Yeh, that's what I'd do, the e^(-) term makes the time from 6 to 12 go slower than 0 to 6

Yehh yeh.
In the real exam I used these definitions in a show that where everyone else used proportionality including the MS my alternative was not in the MS but it got 2/3 marks lost a mark cause i wrote the wrong conclusion (wtf is wrong with me). Anyway interesting question when you get to it in the UK 2015 U4 paper!
Cheers btw, needed some insight.
Aint it like 5am in ur endz

what do you recommend if I've exhausted every single unit 4 + unit 5 edexcel regular past papers + IAL past papers that are available?

Should I do the more recent papers over again or?

Hey guys!
Having a little issue here, but I don't know how you'll be able to help me :frown:
So there are a lot of questions on projectile motion equations, especially for particles in electric fields and stuff... and i have kind of lost touch of the use of these equations.
Can someone give me a summary of the stuff? Like those calculating max height, then time taken and range etc.
Also where should you use the equation : s= (u+v)t/2?
Thanks for any assistance in any way

Hi, I have two questions. For the first picture how do you know which way the current is flowing? And for the second picture why is the answer B? Thanks in advance.
