Why don't guys go crazy about female singers/bands?

The vast majority of female singers and bands fans are also teenage girls. Shouldn't they be guys? I mean since so many girls worship Bieber or 1D , why don't guys do the same with the female equivalents? You'd think moguls like Cowell who've made billions in this business could easily come up with acts that made the male market react the same way as young women do with male acts.

Commercial music is aimed mostly towards females. Boy bands outnumber girl groups but both are marketed at females.

Boys are more into their games and gadgets. If boys buy music it's likely they want to get involved with music too (and are not pawns to the industry)

I am a straight male, but I would assume it's to do with guys not getting infatuated, most e.g. Would bang Grande/Swift/Selena but they don't care enough to follow them obsessively (as they see them as someone they'd sleep with, not their soulmate or whatever girls see the guys as). Zayn however is my Bae.
