Would appreciate input on university choices.

So, basically, I've been pondering which universities to firm/insurance for a while now (I know I really don't have long), and finally decided to ask around, hoping you guys could give me some idea, any input is appreciated.

I want to study Natural Sciences, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics - eventually specialising in Physics.
My offers are from Cambridge, Durham, Nottingham, Exeter and Bath.

It's likely that I'm going to firm Cambridge, as for insurance I'm a bit stuck.

Durham seems amazing, but they are asking for A*A*A with at-least an A in Further Maths (And an A* in Core Maths, or the other way around), they also don't seem to be as flexible with their course; if I want to eventually focus on Maths and Physics, there's very little chance for me to study Chemistry.

Nottingham was my original goal, when I started A-levels, and their course seems very good, but apparently their education is somewhat lacking compared to the rest - not sure how true that is, though.

Exeter is probably not for me, it seems the course offers only a small amount of flexibility.

Bath is in the same boat as Nottingham, from what I hear.

Thoughts?

I know, I'm not asking for anyone to decide for me, but just wondering if anybody has any input.

I presume your Cambridge offer is A*A*A?
From the sound of it, it seems like your best choice for an insurance is either Nottingham or Bath. I wouldn't imagine there would be too much of a difference in quality of education between those two and Exeter, and presumably they have lower offers than Cambridge which makes them more sensible choices for an insurance than Imperial.

You presume correct!

Imperial? You mean Durham? Yeah, that's a fair point. The only real difference between the Durham offer and Cambridge offer is that Cambridge want an A* in specifically Further Maths.

Also, I was recently excluded from the ability to study chemistry in Durham due to lack of lab space, so they are pretty much off my list anyway. So I wont be kicking myself too much for not putting them as an insurance if I get an A in further but not a star. :P

Oops, yes, I did mean Durham.
Narrowing it down to Bath v Nottingham (University smackdown 2016, be there AND be square.)
Does anyone have any input as to the quality of teaching for the sciences and mathematics in either of these institutions?
