Graphs in CIE IGCSE Biology Alternative to Practical

If you've to plot points on a graph, but they don't all fit into one straight line, do you connect them with straight lines (done by a ruler) or a curved freehand line?Trying to find out for my exam in two days, thanks!
Do a line through most points. If one is quite far out, the next question is likely to ask if there is an anomalous result (one which is unexpected; doesn;t fit into the results). If it is a curve, don't use a ruler. Make sure the correlation is shown through the line. Good luck!

Make sure you draw a line through all the points except the ones which are anomalous and never use a ruler unless the points line up exactly

(If it is an x^2 graph)
