Have you been to Istanbul?

This applies to rural Turkey only really, and a few run down places.

I have, but then again I'm a ****ing white male.

My white female friends avoid that place like the plague though.

Istanbul is the only place "safe" in Turkey... but even there it's very dangerous for foreigners.
Oh yes. Make it easier for me to still not want to go to ****ing Turkey.

Because you say so? British people who were born and lived in India, might not ethnically be Indian, but they are certainly culturally so. It is fine to call oneself an Indian on such a basis, especially if they hold a passport in recognition of this.

You seem to think being ethnically European is the same as being European... Australians are ethnically white, and from Europe, and yet no one is asking for them to be deported.

You could say they are culturally European, in the same way I could learn mandarin and practice martial arts to become 'culturally' Chinese, it's a platitude that means nothing.

This is the type of wishy washy mentality that created this problem, we are not all the same, the differences are real and measurable, no amount of wishing will turn an Arab or African into a European, no matter how much they attempt to imitate us. Which, I might also add is another point, the adoption of our culture by these demographics has been a complete failure on every level.

Do you even have non-White friends?

The suggestion that an Indian raised in London is the same as Mumbai is all too funny to me, perhaps we should ask the members of TSR how much they have assimilated into UK culture?

They seem pretty fine to me.

Yes, many Afro-Caribbeans, Indian and Asian, my flatmate is from China. Why does this matter.

They might not be the same as Indians from Mumbai, but they are also not the same as the indigenous from London ethnically, statistically and culturally, they are not British or European in any respect. The differences are obvious.

Argument from authority, your childish logic is only surpassed by this naive notion that anyone can be whatever they want irrespective of the facts.

Put simply it takes many, many generations to integrate other demographics into a host nation and even then the host nation generally changes as well.

For example; Romans + Germanic tribes + Celts + French tribes = Britain

Arabs + Indians + Britons + African = something that isn't British.

These classifications are stagnant and exclusive to one another. Personally I don't want to stop being what I am to create something new with these demographics, thankfully the feeling is mutual. Which is why we see our country/towns/cities racially and culturally divided.

Nothing wrong with an argument from authority when you are appealing to people from the bloody region in the first place. You're one of these pseudo-racialist liberal philosophers who cries about logical fallacy everytime someone disagrees with you and not understanding the concept of social proof.

You just sound a bit racist to me.

Yes, logical fallacies do matter. I'm not saying the conclusion is wrong, it just means you method of getting there is flawed and the evidence you propose lacks validity.

'Their' opinion on the matter of being assimilated isn't 'proof' of anything, it's completely subjective and bias.
You simply don't have a sound argument, the differences are there, we can see them, ethnically and culturally. All you have is emotive, fairy-tale nonsense about people being whatever they want if they wish real hard.

Whatever floats your boat, my boat runs fossil fuels and yours apparently runs on the power of wishing.
This is like a nightmare you cant get out of.
