Kalam Argument - OCR AS Philosophy of Religion

I was wondering whether this topic is actually relevant to the exam because I can't seem to find it on the specification, despite the fact that it is in my 'Philosophy of Religion' OCR AS textbook. I remember my teacher telling me that some topics - such as the Hindu, Sikh, and Islamic ones have no relevance to my course and are just provided for additional reading but I can't recall whether he meant the Kalam argument aswell.

Thanks for helping.
If you are taking the syllabus which focuses on Christian theology, you won't need the Kalam argument as it is Islamic theology. I did this exam board last year with the same course

We touched on this briefly in GCSE
From what I recall:

Whatever begins to exist has a cause
The universe began to exist
The universe must have a cause
This cause can only be God

It is God because:
God is eternal and is the only constant in the universe
Only he is powerful enough to create the Universe
This makes it the only logical explanation
