after you have left school can you add them on social media to keep in touch?

Who? Teachers? I've got a couple of past teachers on my Facebook... Don't think there's a rule saying you can't, as long as it's after you've left.

Nah, don't talk to them at all to be honest... One occasionally comments on my sister's pictures, but other than that, not at all!

If this is to do with the teacher you fancy I would leave him alone. He can still get into a lot of trouble after you have left.
