under the European Law Commission directive 1989 sub paragraph 12:

in the case where the accused claims not to be of the female gender but can be demonstrated to be female in some substantive form agreeable to the man on the Molenbeek Tram the accused may be regarded as female for the purposes of litigation.

In the case of Bear™ vs Cave Inspector this legislation is effective due to the accused being a Big Girl's Blouse.
