Really ? I got around 41 %

Wasn't this like that ----> (1367.3-800)/1367.3 x 100= 41 %

Anyways this paper was so ****

yeh it was 41.49; 41% to 2 sig figs
oh god i said the major product was sulfur dioxide :frown:
-418kjmol-1
In the question for the test of an iodoalkane, can it be:
Test: add KOH in H2SO4.
Result: purple gases
???
-418 kjmol-1

I said iodohexene :'(

damn it i wrote down carbonate 😣

Even I wrote carbonate, when checking at the last few minutes I changed it to hydrogencarbonate because water vapour is only produced with hydrogen carbonates
I found the paper harder than the past papers. Also what did you get for the apparatus needed for simple distillation? And what value did you get from the graph for the 3 carbons?

if you add these they will neutralise ;D , it shouldve been add pcl5 then misty fumes will come out bc of HI

Oh no i put the wrong value in! I put 450 instead of 800! :frown: Do you think a mark would be awarded for working at least?

What about the Anion in the first question what was it?

I wrote down beaker, thermometer and rubber bung. Not too sure about this

In the graph I think I got -1200 kj/mol

I wrote Thermometer, stopper, and syringe , value was about 1200

Isn't it add warm sodium hydroxide, then dilute nitric acid and silver nitrate solution and a yellow precipitate would be seen?
What's the test for iodine?
I said starch solution turns blue-black
Is this right?

In the graph I think I got -1800 kj/mol

Yeah I put conical flask instead of beaker. The value I got was around -1220
