All I can think of now is some rather hideous song from around 2004. It was in some foreign language. And it's going to really bug me now!

Dragostea din tei? I loved that song. In summer 2004 Argos did some kind of deal on the NEC e313 phone (the brick with a swivel camera) so all the kids in my area got one. It was unusual at the time because you could play music without headphones, I used to bomb around on my bike blaring out dragostea din tei and babycakes thinking I was so cool. :ahee:

Like a G6... I used to keep asking my sister in bewilderment da **** is a g6? Why won't she stop saying G6? Make it stop.

Cue spontaneous combustion

When this track came out, Britain was in the midst of the Happy Slapping craze and this was the background music to some of the videos. Banned from radio, banned from live events, as soon as it dropped everyone would go nuts.

I can actually remember the first time I heard Pow. You knew straight away it was going to be massive.

My main memories of it are of walking around with groups of friends and one of us playing it on loudspeaker. Youts :facepalm2: Life was simpler when playing Spaceship Riddim through my walkman phone was high on my agenda

Happy slapping was so stupid. Then again, I still remember whassuppp(!!!) :moon:

I remember it started off as a slap then quickly developed into people getting filled in. Much like that knockout game that took off in America recently.

Them were the days though  trading instrumentals on the back of the bus, Bluetooth times.
