AS-level OCR History 20 Mark Source Question

Can anyone explain how to answer the 20 mark question that requires you refer to three different sources in your answer?
Thanks
identify each source's purpose FIRST. Don't start quoting from the source until you have identified its purpose, then you should look at the provenance of each source , this means its origin. look for similarities and differences which relate to the question.

Is it advisable to go for the purpose and embed quotes in that first paragraph?

Also, i was just wondering if this was an ok structure to make sure everything is included:

Purpose.
provenance.
Strengths and limitations, with an overall verdict on utility.
and throughout have at least one sentence of own knowledge and then at the end reach a clear judgment.
