280 UCAS points is equivalent to?

'This offer is subject to you obtaining a minimum of 280 UCAS Tariff points from a combination of A Level(s) and BTEC qualification(s).'
i'm not to sure what this means but im guessing it's 3 AS/A2 grades that make up the points of 280? I am studying health and social care diploma A2 and media studies AS. Thanks.

So you need to get 280 UCAS points in total

your H&SC BTEC gets you:

D*D* = 280
D*D = 260
DD = 240
DM = 200
MM = 160
MP = 120
PP = 80

for your AS Media:
A = 60
B = 50
C = 40
D = 30
E = 20

so any grade combinations that add up to 280+

For A2, the AS points are doubled (ie an A at A2=120,(A*=140 but doesn't have an equivalent AS grade))

I know, I just figured that if someone else looks at the thread for the same question, they may not know :smile: I don't know why I replied to yours and not to OPs, but late night tsr-ing results in odd outcomes 😂
