Don't you mean 'I am planning to become an investment banker, what do you girls think of people like me?'

No. Women pretty much hate guys in the top 1% of earners in the country.

I suppose I would not mind dating one but he has to impress me with his personality and charm first.

Let me add this: they work 80+ hours a week and sometimes pull all-nighters. Also, they only get 2 weeks holiday a year at best.

That's in the US.

In Europe, 4/5 weeks holiday is the standard.

The insecurity is real. I can confirm that my finance friends clean up very nicely when they're out - of course markets people are more free to go out than IBers. It really does depend more on your personality than your occupation.

The thread isn't 100% srs unless you mean the beta male trolls posting

You're doing CS at Nottingham arent you? Are you aiming for IB then?
Girls are either incredibly impressed or think you are a scumbag. There is no in-between.

Lol no. Going to Warwick this year for Data Science (Maths, Stats and CompSci).

Ofc, IB or consulting is the goal. Would be a nice change from helping others get into it to me landing the offers myself - hit rate in terms of advice has been 90% so far, we shall see.
