How do you feel about gay people?

Scroll to see replies

Having an opinion on gay people is like having an opinion on anyone else in our world.

Having a different sexuality to another person does not mean you should be looked at differently to other people let alone having an "opinion" on them. Sexuality isn't something that should be a primary source to opinions. What people don't understand is; they can't help who they like, whether it being a different gender or being someone who other people don't find attractive. There are a lot of other factors you can judge people on or have an "opinion" on, other than their sexuality.
[QUOTE=IAmNero;64836059]Oh dear, oh dear. Someone clearly doesn't realize that it still doesn't back up the assertion that most/ a majority participate. Even with your stats, it doesn't back up your 'majority' argument.

Enjoy trying to be edgy, despite the fact you are blatantly wrong.

Pretty confident this is you confirming you have lost this argument.....

I mean, i never ever used the word majority in my original post. It is YOU who has put that word in my mouth....

Have a good day mate. Continue being prejudiced against gay men.

I frankly don't care what anyone gets up to, that is their own business. I judge people on their character, how they conduct themselves, their views..... Rather than on their sexuality, religion or skin colour. Do what you want mate

I wasn't aware this was a competition...

Irrelevant, it was the implication....

I'm Bi...you played yourself....

I do the same. Good day to you.

Well when two people disagree, generally they each try and put their case forward and 'win' the argument.

I was implying it was 'mainstream' but anyway....

Ok, mate.

Cheers.

Why are you singling 'gay' people out? When undoubtedly, most straight men here would happily get off to some 'lesbian' porn but then condone 'gay' men when they have sex themselves. This double standard thing here is terrible. You frown upon everything that doesn't get you off but then accept anything that does get you off.

It makes me feel sick that straight guys do this. And then people say it's easier to be a lesbian than a gay man cos it's 'more accepted'. No, it's more objectified and sexualised. That doesn't mean it's accepted.

It's not just straight guys, some straight girls do this too. I think it's because heterosexual guys tend to be attracted to women, so for obvious reasons they would fine two females more attractive than two males, it's human nature.

Actually, I think you may be taking what they are saying to mean more than it is. Anal sex is a more common as a form of intercourse amongst homosexuals, thus it is part of the homosexual lifestyle so to speak.

And no, anal sex is not common practice in heterosexual relationships.

Please tell this to every straight guy I've ever been with, they're obsessed with anal!

I probably misphrased what I was saying! Most straight guys want to do it with a girl, doesn't really mean the girl wants to do it :P

Yeah, it's equally as creepy and disgusting when straight women objectify gay and bi men as when straight men objectify gay and bi women.
honestly i have no issue with gay people in general, although i do have a particular distaste when i see them acting super 'camp' in public like taking the gay thing and blowing it out of proportion! Although i do have an issue with those whom are consanguineous and ive been seeing that alot on tsr recently!

What sort of question is that

Although I'm interested to see if everyone still believes that being gay is not a choice and it's not a genetic mutation. It's one or the other lmao. Tends to be funny watching people contradict themselves accidently

There have been studies showing that with each older sister a man has, their chance of being gay increases, suggesting that it may be caused by exposure to certain factors in the womb. It could also be caused by environmental factors people are exposed to after they are born. It's pretty clearly not definitely caused by either a genetic mutation or personal choice - it's not "one or the other".
They are pretty gay.

I mean, really, what is there to discuss? You're literally waiting for a tonne of people to come here and complain about flamboyance, gay sex, and this "shoving it in my face" *******s.

I don't have any issue with flamboyance, gay sex and even "shoving it in my face" since I'm down for a good time :wink2: but what I do have an issue with is misogynistic gay men who don't miss an opportunity to denigrate women because of some deep rooted insecurity. I've seen first hand gay men who threaten to beat straight women up IRL for no good reason. There's also some racism in the white gay circles as well which is totes not cute.

Except that isn't a "gay" issue. It's an issue with the individuals. It isn't a property of their sexual orientation.

Well it is haram / forbidden .

You're one to talk about "haram / forbidden" with a profile pic like that... What a stupid pointless thread :/

Should there really be any reason to discuss? You dont get threads asking, "How do you feel about straight people?"...
Straight Pride next summer :colone:

The whole idea that people are still asking this is the reason why homophobia is still a thing.

While violence against women is an issue for both straight and gay men, I feel like you're being obtuse as you side-stepped the point completely and to no good effect.

I'm pointing out an inherent problem in the gay male community which is threatened by straight women who are their direct competition and as a result resort to name calling and good ol' misogyny because "she's" sleeping with someone who "he" fancies. I've seen it time and time again, gay men coming for straight women for no good reason and it appears that their behaviour is socially acceptable. You often hear gay men call women bitches, whores and in a lot of cases gay men perpetuate misogyny the most and frequently threaten violence
