Really? I'm doing OCR Religious Studies B with B603/01 and B603/02 tomorrow. It's the same content as what you're talking about but you can do choose to do all 4 questions on a single religion rather than a different religion for each unit? Let me know...

I'm doing OCR RE Philosophy and Ethics aswell and in the exam you can choose 2 out of any of the 3 questions, on whatever religion you would like. In my school my teacher taught us 2 units on Christianity, 1 on Islam and 1 on Hinduism but in the other class they were taught all Christianity.
I'm doing all the RE units on Christianity anyways because I'm most comfortable with it.

Aw I'm sure it went better than you thought!

For ' what 2 reasons against abortion would not be acceptable for Christians' would
The couple split up be a one?
And for a method of contraception?

Yeah I'd say that would get you 2 marks.
Do you think:
The foetus is the wrong gender
The foetus is handicapped
Would be alright?
So....how did everyone find it today?

I felt that "Race is not important" (for equality) and "No occupation is immoral" (poverty and wealth) were the ones I struggled with the most. I do not think I will get an A* tbh, I barely finished the poverty and wealth part e question, as I messed up the timings a little on the first paper.

Yes, I think you would get both of them!!
I found it alright, medical ethics the d questions were pretty similar, found myself making similar points.

And the equality e question. What?
I found the e part medical ethics difficult: 'religion is the best way to learn medical ethics' or something. What did people put for this?

Was it religion is the best guide to medical ethics? There was a similar question in the 2010 paper I did yesterday so just copied those arguments

I wrote about:

Conscience
Science
How is give us good advice for example equality
How the bible contradicts itself
But I don't know if I would get any marks for any of these...
Questions I remember
Race is not important 12 marks
War is never good 12 marks
Religion is the best guide to ethics 12 marks
Name the 3 aims of punishment that a prison sentence does
How are roles of women affected in society
What reasons would Christians not accepted for an abortion
Does anyone else remember any?
Thanks, I put similar things as well as like looking/analysing the best method in the situation rather than using the Bible's fixed teachings.
Does anything one know how we can get a paper?
how did everyone find the exam!
