What are 'daddy issues' and what are the signs a girl has some?

Likewise is there an equivalent term for men who have mother issues?

Would you avoid a girl raised by a single mother based on that alone or would you date a girl that wasn't raised in a traditional nuclear household?

If you would avoid her then why?

Both biological parents, married, maybe with some siblings too. Nothing to do with the scientific sense of the world

This is ridiculous, she could be a really nice girl, it's not her fault if she hasn't got a mother or father.

Common examples of girls with daddy issues:

- dating a guy much older than her

- has been with lots of guys. usually do this because they use attention & validation they get from guys as replacement for attention & validation she didnt / doesnt get from her father

- strongly feminist / man-hating

Virgin is best situation, regarding her sexual history.

She hasnt had sex before so doesnt have as many expectations - which gives you some leeway, and you'll be the base to which she compares every guy she ever has sex with in her life (so if you f*** her good, she will pretty much be in love with you for the rest of her life lol)

I see but what about if she's a virgin and a feminist?

A house with some cooling towers and a generator in the back garden of course...

Wouldn't take notice of the idea of daddy issues - seems to just be a catch-all term for anyone who doesn't abide by gender expectations; and really what combination of parents they have is irrelevant - staying away even if you like someone because they've only got a mum or similar is bizarre.
