7 was integrating. The integral evaluated to 20.25, and the shaded area was 11.25

Hope it's 73 (or less). Full marks for 100 would be a bummer.

If its full marks for 100 ums on this hardish C1 paper I haven't got a chance of full UMS on C2
Does anyone know the surds part b) question? I know it was ((3rt5)^2 + something) divided by something.

(3√5)^2 + √5 over 7-3√5

(3√5)^2 + ? over 7-3√5

Yeah that looks about right, did anyone get 4 as the denominator?
Original post by Poppy1098
I also got root 34

nahhhhh fammmm it was k=65

ahhh never mind, other than that and forgetting how to find a stationary point (really stupid mistake) i think ive done pretty well
could anyone tell me what question number had an answer of -3/2<k<6 ?

I need to know aswell, what was the question

think it was 8, but i got the answer as k<-3/2, k>6

it was K<-3/2 K>6
they were 2 seperate inequalities because B^2-4ac was > 0

It was the last part of the last question, not sure what number. But k wasn't between values as it was 'equation'>0 so you had to give the points that were above 0 making k<-3/2 and k>6

I got -4 as the denominator but I don't think it's right

Hmm, nah it's 9. The base was the difference between -2 and -5/4 which is 3/4.
