Describe the Miller-Urey experiment,
. Must give gasses used
. Condition the gasses were in
. What was made and why there was a problem.

There was a reaction between methane, ammonia, hydrogen and nitrogen triggered by lightning. As a result amino acids formed, which combined producing organic matter; this evolved into living organisms.

The gases used were water vapour, hydrogen, ammonia, nitrogen, and hydrogen. The gases were sealed and heated. An electrical charge was then applied. Amino acids were formed, but not as many as there are on Earth, suggesting that the experiment was on the right lines, but not perfect

Miller and Urey used 4 gases and put them in a container. These gases were Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Ammonia and Methane as the 2 scientists believed that these gases would have been present in the early atmosphere. The gases were in hot conditions and electricity was passed through the gases to simulate lightening that would have been present in the primitive atmosphere. After the experiment was left running for a week, amino acids were formed which are building blocks of a living organism. However, the problem was that the amino acids produced were very little.

I'm not quite sure about the answer so could someone correct me if it's wrong please?^

How did oceans form?

Oceans formed because the water vapour released by volcanoes in the Earth's early atmosphere condensed, making water.

How did oceans form?

Earth's temperature called steam that was present in the early Earth's atmosphere (from volcanic activity) condensed to form water filling up vast ditches in the land.
Does cracking involve heating Alkanes or Alkenes?

How did oceans form?

Both carbon dioxide and water vapour were present in the early atmosphere from volcanoes. There was a large amount of carbon dioxide causing the Earth to cool, so then the water vapour condensed forming the oceans.

Carbon dioxide that has been trapped in something like an ocean or a living creature's body therefore isn't released back into the atmosphere

Advantages:
-Carbon neutral
-Engines don't need to be converted
-Less sulphur dioxide and particulates produced than with normal petrol.

Disadvantages:
-Not enough to completely replace petrol and diesel
-Expensive to make
-Farmers could switch from growing food crops to growing plants for biofuels- leads to an increase in food prices.
-Clearing land/deforestation??? ( Not sure about this one.)

You'd probably get marked down as it specifically asked for one reason.
