Edexcel gcse english literature

Hey guys. For the drama & prose exam on Monday, I am worried that I do not have a revision technique that helps me to remember quotes.
I am studying An Inspector Calls and of Mice and Men.
Would you be able to give me your opinion on the best revision methods for memorising quotes as such? Thanks

I scribble down every quote I want to use and memorise. So I'll read it over and over and then I'll scribble it down a few times. At the same time it's useful to know in what context it's in and where in the play/book it happens. Inspector calls was what I did for coursework, it seems like the easiest one for quotes as it's not too long. Just read over quotes, scribble those suckers down. Oh! Get someone to quiz you, or make flash cards asking "give quotes for this theme" etc

If you look at all the past paper questions, Inspector Goole is the only character that hasn't yet come up (except of course Edna but she doesn't count) so they're is a likely chance that it will be him. However, I hope the examiners don't think that we think it's going to be Inspector Goole so might pull out a repeat of another character, so just to be safe revise them all!!!!!!!!!

Good spot. There are so many different perceptions of inspector Goole, too..
- Priestly, interrogating the family
- A journalist on upper class society
- A phantom/ghost/spirit/ghoul
- A serial killer (plotting the killing of someone successfully)
- An activist who wants to stop disagreements between capitalists and socialists and become reunited (using the theme of responsibility to link capitalists and socialists together and take responsibility individually).
