Favourite film soundtracks

What are your favourite soundtracks?

Recently, I have been obsessed with this:

but my favourite of all time is the Lord of the Rings soundtracks, with concerning hobbits leading the way.

and there are a few other notable mentions:

Inception - time
The Dark Knight soundtrack

Can't think of any others at the moment, but there are many many more. Soundtracks are so important to a film. and I feel like they are sometimes not recognized as such.

theory of everything and wolf of wall street (the chest thumping is still my favourite thing ever)
The Last Samurai had a gorgeous soundtrack, even though I wasn't a huge fan of the film itself.
The Gladiator soundtrack is amazing :ahee:
Always been a lover of the Disney soundtracks (mainly because they're just easy to sing along to) including Lion King, Mulan, Tarzan etc, and also the Prince Of Egypt and Spirit (stallion of the cimarron) films. Game of Thrones soundtracks are good too, as well as Brave Heart, Narnia and Titanic. But anything goes really :awesome:

Listening to it now. Chinese music, in general, is so melodious, relaxing and therapeutic.

You know what gives me goosebumps?

That entire soundtrack is, wow. Ennio Morricone is the best.
My kinda thread - since i don't listen to music (unless it's 80's), but i do listen to and even buy, movie & tv soundtracks/scores.

Only 1 video per post kinda sucks though :colonhash:

My current favourite, from BBC's The Hunt wildlife documentary:

The above is only CD 1 of the soundtrack, CD 2 is found in this link.

Other soundtracks/themes i would like to include:

Man of Steel - Ideal of Hope
Inception - Time
Interstellar - Mountains / No time for caution
The Da Vinci Code - Chevaliers de Sangreal
Mission Impossible 2 - Injection
The Dark Knight - General Suite

Yeh...Hans Zimmer kind of nails it for me. However, i'm not entirely biased, the following are from other composers:

Imitation Game - General Soundtrack
Harry Potter - Lily's Theme
Transformers - Arrival to Earth
National Treasure - Main Theme
Xmen - Main Theme (one of)

Why didn't you like the film? I saw it ages ago, but I thought it was a pretty good film.

Will check some of these out soon! Thank you
This is the study playlist that I've been working on for the past year or so. Really pleased with it now, managed to find some really great soundtracks even from stuff that I've not seen. A big fan of soundtracks from The Lord of The Rings, Inception, Interstellar, 28 Days Later and The Dark Knight.

My favourites seem to change every month or so, but right now I'm hooked on this one:

Pretty much everything from Hans Zimmer is amazing but Requiem For A Dream is my favourite.
Other than that I love soundtracks that feature older pop/rock songs like the ones for Guardians of the Galaxy or Donnie Darko. Especially in Donnie Darko I think they fit really well.

Bladerunner is the obvious one, I don't typically remember film scores though, despite being a "music guy"
The self preservation society song from the italian job is pretty amazing
Any Studio Ghibli film has an amazing score, I also love LOTR soundtrack, and obviously the classic Disney films, Gladiator and Harry Potter

I didn't dislike it per se, just wasn't a fan because I didn't see it as anything special. It was an OK watch, but not something to re-watch. Quite forgettable if not for the amazing soundtrack.
