What if you take that out of the equation and assume it was all in jest? We're talking generally "would you be too disgusted" rather than "would you be offended if they spat in your drink".

If it was just a joke, like 100% a joke, if I was at Nandos probably not. If it was a normal restaurant I guess it depends. Personally I doubt that I would fancy the kind of person who would spit in someone's drink, and if I did, it may well end that fancy of them. But assuming it somehow didn't, and I knew they were the kind of person with clean teeth, good health and hygiene etc, and I was really really into them, and it really was just a joke, I'm not sure. I can't imagine doing it, drinking someone's spit doesn't really do it for me. I'm not sure I'd be offended if it was a joke, I might be a little annoyed, particularly since drink's at restaurants are pretty pricey. If we're talking a coke or something then no, I'd just accept the fact I've lost like £3 or more on it. If it was alcoholic I would drink it no questions asked. 1) alcohol is expensive and 2) alcohol kills bacteria so it would be safe to drink.
