The Student Room Group

I'm an anti-feminist, AMA.

This is quite a controversial topic, so I'd like to at least clear some confusion over what "anti-feminist" means, and why I am one.

A guinea pig, but it's not really mine, my mum takes care of it.
Are you opposed to legal and political equality for both genders? :holmes:

How old are you?
Well done, you'll fit right in here with the majority then.

- Do you like Harry Potter? If so, why? If not, why?

No-one, not one single person, is looking for you to clear up what that means.

I could go on for a while, but I guess my main point is the misinformation and false facts. An example is the wage gap - there isn't one. The "78 cents for a man's dollar" statistic is so misleading because it doesn't account for occupation, hours worked, job position and the time taken off when a woman takes care of a newborn baby.

I wish that were true, but a lot of people seem to think that means I don't think women should have rights and that I'm a sexist pig.

Could you clear up this then - are you against all feminists or just third wave feminists?

I liked the Harry Potter movies, but I don't LOVE Harry Potter. I just liked them as movies.
