My textbook says addition

Oh good because that's what I put for the answer

This is about the type of reaction between sulphuric acid and glucose, it just says exothermic

I'm pretty sure it just said 'what is this reaction called?' or at least something very similar - I just put dehydration because sulphuric acid removes the water from substances but I could be wrong.
I havent even heard of dehydration as a type of reaction until now... ffs

I'm pretty sure it was 275

Yeah, I got 275

What did you get for the question after it? like what kind of reaction was it?

Dehydration

Is there an unofficial mark scheme for this paper?

It was addition because it was an alkene that was polymerised, so no small molecules were created. What did you get for the empricial formula?
