Money may be the husk of many things, but not the kernel. It brings you food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health; acquaintances, but not friends; servants, but not faithfulness; days of joy, but not peace or happiness.

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend or a meaningful day.

You still haven't explained why money is important, it's not the most important thing as it is only one way to achieve: less stress, a sense of achievement and potentially happiness.

You want me to explain why money is important? Okay... because with money we can buy goods or services which we need to live happy lives.

Tell me how using zero money you can achieve any of those things you listed...

Perhaps not, but can you be happy with zero money? I think not

It can, if you know how.

I have a job that has paid more than I have ever had, and I'm not happy. I'd much rather be on mediocre pay and be happier in myself...I must admit though, the money is the only thing stopping me leaving...
I've got to admit, having been poor all my life id love a job where the pay is good :P

But the most important thing to me is love (partner, family and friends love) . I guess you do need money for that indirectly, eg. going to films or getting coffee with them and i guess if your gonna just chat in a house, you need a house too but as long as i have the basics ill be alright

Interested to know your views. If you think something is more important, please explain how this can be achieved without money and whether or not money helps to achieve it.

Do you mean in terms of priority, don't you? In this view, health is more important than money, even the most important thing in life for everyone of us. A lot of money is useless, if I am mortally ill and money cannot change it.

You may be onto something, but what use is health without any money?

Is it better to live a long and healthy but destitute life with constant struggle and suffering or to live a short life in happiness despite being very ill towards a premature death?

I think I would prefer the second option although your answer is closer than others.
What job do you have if you don't mind me asking?

That's not my point. The OP said he'd rather have an ok salary, which means he'd still rather have money just less of it.

Ofcourse I would but the thread is relating to money being the most important thing which, to me, it isn't
masturbation! you dont have to pay for anything if you're pleasuring your own body. and dont try and say that you need money for lube or porn cause you can use saliva and make up your own porn in your mind.

I stick to it: money is useless without health, especially I am lying in my deathbed without being able to move a body part. Have seen some people in this condition because of cancer. I am sure they would give me a ****ing **** to money. Those people are struggling and suffering, with and without money. Healthy people have the chance to change their life at least, people who are deathly ill have this not.
