What happens if you exceed your predicted grades?

For example if I was predicted BBC and the Unis I applied for rejected me because I needed BBB, but by the time I actually get my A2 results and I get BBB, what would happen then? Would I have to wait until the following year to apply? Or could I contact the uni?

You can apply through Adjustment if you meet and exceed your firm offer. This means you can attempt to see if the uni you want will accept you, whilst still holding onto your firm offer. However, not many people get in through this route so it isn't something to get too hopeful over.

If you really want the uni you would need to take a gap year and reapply. You're not guaranteed to get an offer so should think carefully before doing this.
