There was a passage where George is about to kill Lennie
The question was: how does Steinbeck present the build-up for Lennie's death?

Something like that and then part b) how does steinbeck present the society and the dreams, something about the American Dreams and how they link to society.. Can't remember part b properly

yeah it also said choose 2 characters from the novela that have the american dream
or something like that

For AIC I chose the question on Gerald and Sheila so I did a paragraph for each act talking about how their relationship gradually goes downhill in each act.

For OMAM, I spoke about Curley's Wife's dream and how Steinbeck uses Lennie as a tool to project her dream. And about how ironic it is how she spoke about her dream right before she died, meaning the American Dream isn't likely to happen for the majority

oh.
I did the conflict question, i wrote 3 paragraphs about the divide between young and old, capitalism vs socialism and i wrote about the conflict in the relation ship of Mr and Mrs Birling

For OMAM, I wrote about how killing Lennie killed the american dream etc and then I wrote about crooks and slim and touched on candy

I focused alot on the build up of tension in the relationship and the change from gerald posessing sheila by giving her the ring to the end where sheila gives back the ring basically telling gerald he can go f*ck himself. FEMALE POWER .

I wrote about Whit and his dream of becoming an editor, and how it is essentially escapism from isolation.

I then wrote about George and Lennie's dream and how easily breakable their dream is.

I hope those are good points because I only wrote two paragraphs when most people in my year wrote three :smile:

Yeah I found OMAM hard, I forgot to write the question number for AIC so I went back to write it 😂 AIC Gerald and Sheila one was easy
