Guys no-one else appears to have started one, so if you can remember some Qs do you want to start one here?

What did people put for the 8 mark cognitive question?
More specifically the two "features" of the cognitive approach?

The two features I said were:
Theoretical models and computer analogies
The role of schemas

The two limitations I said were:
The computer analogies cannot be generalised to humans because we're different in a number of ways.
The schemas bring about practical application e.g bring implications for eye witness testimonies when eye witnesses fill in the gaps of info, etc

Obviously I expanded on the points and explained them, wbu?

For the two features, I wrote about schemas and the computer analogy (How cognitive psychologists see the mind as similar to a computer). No idea if this is right though :s-smilie:

I found this paper quite hard, much harder than the first one.

Features i used were theoretical models and schema and for limitations i wrote that it's reductionist and computer models cannot apply to humans

I just wrote about the internal mental processes and computer model
I personally found it a little tough

do you think i would get marks talking about Beck and Ellis as they are cognitive for depression, also Jahoda.

Yes i totally agree! It was a lot harder for me too! That last 12 marker was horrible too. I knew it'd be an approach explaining a disorder, but didn't expect it to be that one...

depends what the question was asking, i.e cognitive features in approaches or cognitive features as an explanation of depression.

if it was the second one then im sure youd get the marks but i cant remember the question fully soz :P
