I think you're mixing up OCR and AQA - AQA's multiple choice questions are on the second paper.

What would you say about the vibrations of a stretched string experiment and the measuring the emf and internal resistance of a cell/battery experiment?
Do we need to know the experiments for the paper tomorrow? I thought it only came up on paper 2...

You're right, it's just for paper 2 we need to know experiments, and multiple choice as well.

For Specimen Paper 1, can anybody explain WHY question 1.2 is the Strong Nuclear Force? My physics teacher couldn't; I'm a bit unsure as to what I would put if I have to justify my answer. Thanks in advance :smile:

I think it is because 2 hadrons are interactiing with one another, and the hadrons only interact via the strong nuclear force.

can someone else please confirm my statement though^^^ ?
Is the content the same on both papers? Or are the modules split between them?

As far as I know, both AS Papers will test all of the topics/modules, so:

Measurements and Their Errors
Particles and Radiation
Waves
Mechanics and Materials
Electricity

The only difference between paper 1 and 2 is that paper 2 will have a multiple choice section and will also test the required practicals :smile:

That's not the actual reason, the reason is that strange particles are created in pairs via the strong nuclear force. They decay through the weak interaction.
