How can you calculate the rate of reaction from graphs e.g, drawing tangents and finding initial rate of reaction?

1. draw a tangent at the orgin
2. calculate the gradient of the tangent -->Δy/Δx

Thank you, does this work for all curved graphs and can you calculate it from any point?

It depends which point it ask you for, the gradient changes in a curve.
Each point has its own tangent, i am sure they will either state the x-value or ask for inital rate :smile:
